One of the best spots for carnitas in all of Baja is Carnitas la Flor de Michoacán in Rosarito Beach. The restaurant has been serving up carnitas in the same location since 1950 and it’s not hard to see why. The food is delicious, the staff are welcoming and friendly and the prices can’t be beat. You can feed four people a full carnitas meal with all the trappings for just $20. The decor is exactly what you would expect from a Mexican restaurant that’s been around for over 60 years; beautiful Mexican tiles and old brick, bright colorful murals on the walls, old photographs and kitschy, traditional Mexican accents.
